Overview
This policy explains what SavvyToolz (savvytoolz.com) collects and how it is used. It applies to the website and, in its own section below, to the SavvyToolz Time Zone Converter (Chrome extension). It is effective from 2026-10-30.
SavvyToolz has no accounts, no sign-up and no user profiles. We do not sell personal information.
What the tools process
Most tools work in your browser. What you type, upload or convert is processed on your device and is not stored by SavvyToolz.
Some preferences, such as your language and saved tool settings, are kept in your browser's local storage so they are there on your next visit. You can clear them from your browser settings at any time.
Third-party services
A few tools rely on trusted third-party services, for example to look up exchange rates or network information, or to load fonts and libraries. When they do, your browser contacts that service directly and it receives your IP address and standard request details, as with any website you visit. Each service handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, which pages and tools are used so we can improve them. It does not receive what you type or upload into the tools.
Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address and device information, which Google processes under its own policies. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage is off unless you allow it.
Advertising and cookies
SavvyToolz may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to SavvyToolz and/or other sites on the internet.
Ads and ad measurement can involve cookies, device identifiers, IP address and browsing information. SavvyToolz does not give advertisers any personal information about you.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info, and manage browser cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies and local storage keep the site working (language, saved tool settings). Analytics and advertising cookies are optional where the law requires consent.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics and ad storage are off by default. When advertising is switched on, a Google-certified consent message asks whether you allow cookies and similar technologies for analytics and ads. Until you agree, analytics and ad storage stay off and ads are limited to non-personalized or no ads. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link shown by the message, or by clearing the site's cookies.
Where US state privacy laws apply, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising using the choices Google provides in its message, in Google Ads Settings, or at www.aboutads.info.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. SavvyToolz holds no account data, so there is usually nothing to look up; the data held by Google (Analytics and AdSense) is managed through your Google account and the controls above.

Children
SavvyToolz is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will act on it.
SavvyToolz Time Zone Converter (Chrome extension)
The SavvyToolz Time Zone Converter Chrome extension does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It has no analytics, ads or third-party code.
It only uses Chrome's storage to remember the cities you choose. That list stays in your browser (and your Chrome sync, if you use it); SavvyToolz never receives it.

Security and retention
The site is served over HTTPS. SavvyToolz does not retain your tool inputs. Analytics data is kept by Google for a limited retention period.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here.
