Does the days-until count include weekends?

The standard countdown includes every calendar day. Turn on Business Days Only to count Monday through Friday while excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

Is it accurate for leap years?

Yes. The target is handled as a real calendar date, so February 29 and different month lengths are included automatically.

When does the countdown reach zero?

It reaches zero at midnight at the beginning of the selected date in your device's local time zone. A partial day is shown as hours, minutes, and seconds rather than rounded up to another full day.

Are public holidays excluded from business days?

No. Business Days Only excludes weekends but cannot infer country-specific holidays, leave, or workplace closures.

Is my countdown saved or uploaded?

The selected date, optional event name, and weekday preference are stored in your browser's local storage so the countdown can be restored on this device. They are not uploaded by the calculator.
